| Your wolf will age automatically with the time system put in place. Every real-time month (30-31 days) will move the season on by a third, for example if it was early spring after a month it would be mid spring. Depending on what time of the year your wolf was born (early, mid or late spring, summer, autumn or winter) they will age when it reaches that part of the season again by a year. The age of your wolf can change the activities that your wolf can participate in, too. Your wolf will die at the age of 8 and you can either decide to keep the rest of your characters and leave that account, or you can switch them for another character after their death. If you wish for your wolf to die then simply kill them off, no permission is needed. Pups: | Pups are classed as wolves from the age of 0-12 months. It is recommended you don't start as a newborn wolf or one younger than 2 weeks, simply because before that they can do nothing. At 2 weeks a pup can begin to leave the den and learn things, just remember to keep it realistic enough, they wouldn't know anything; especially if they start at the age of 2 weeks. A pup below 8 months old cannot live on its own; it will need a guide or a parent to survive the wild. | Yearlings: | Yearlings are classed as wolves from the age of 1-2 years. They will now have much more knowledge and start to participate in regular activities and begin to raise role-play skill levels (hunting, fighting and medicine). This age is a key age to learn because otherwise it will get harder as an adult, when everyone is just improving their skills. As a yearling you can also begin breeding, however, some wolves may not be mature enough and if they were they may need assistance from an adult whilst raising their pups. | Adults: | Adults are classed as wolves from the age of 2-5 years. Most adult wolves will now just be improving their skills, not so much learning. They will assist much more in the daily work and have more responsibility. An adult wolf can freely breed easily, having the full maturity now to know what to do. Some adults may assist with any younger parents, or others might just become parents themselves. Some may even branch out and form their own packs within the area of Cytgord if they have enough experience and approval from the Alpha of the main pack of Cytgord. | Elders: | Elders are classed as wolves from the age of 6-8 years. They are wise and highly respected amongst all the wolves of Cytgord. They all leave their packs and become members of the Elder Council, spreading amongst all the wolves of Cytgord. However, if a wolf did not wish to leave their pack and join said council they can decide not to, all they have to do is say to and they don't need to; it is their decision after all. Even if they do decline it they may join any time from the age of 6 upwards, so if they changed their mind, even after a few months, they would he able to join. |
