You may have an unlimited amount of characters, we just need to know which are yours. All your characters must remain active in the threads in which they participate in, too.
Liquid time means your character can be in more than one place at any one time. It's a lot simpler and clutters the site much less. You can open your own threads at any time and as many as you like, it is all up to you and how much you think you can manage. A thread can be labelled [O] for open, which means anyone can join; [P] for private, which means only invited members can join and [C] for closed, which is what you mark the thread as once you're done with it and leave, this lets our admins know a thread is complete and once a thread has the [C] mark on it the thread will be moved into the Archives to keep the site nice and neat.
