PostSubject: The lost one [O]   The lost one [O] EmptyFri Feb 19, 2016 6:03 pm

She was lost, and she had no idea where she was. Lost and confused she had stumbled upon a wasteland, a desert. Most wolves would have turned around and left the barren fields behind her, but Anwyn had been so lost and deep in thought that she had entered the barren lands. And now? Now she was stuck here, and there was no prey around. It seemed she was going to be in trouble, for she could not find anything to eat. And she was really hungry, and thirsty. Was there no water around? No small creek or a little puddle? It was winter, right? Did it ever snow here, or rain? Seemed it barely did.

She let out a sigh and sat down, staring out over the land. Her butt hit the ground with a loud thump and she sat there staring confusedly, a distance in her eyes; she was not here right now, nor anywhere else. She was tired and hungry and thirsty and just plain confused.
And the worst thing of all was, the poor female remembered nothing about herself; she did not remember her parents, she did not know if she had any siblings. Heck, she didn't even know her name. And here she was sitting in an unfamiliar place, all alone.

Arbiter continued to walk forward, somehow he had managed to enter this strange place, finding himself in a desert type area. There was no water and no prey to be seen anywhere, only predators like snakes and scorpions. Still he ran about like a lost yearling, laughing as he ran. The wolf didn’t feel he needed to be responsible right now so where was the harm in a bit of fun? He started charging around, running about at high speed. His long legs helped push him forwards, making him go faster and faster.

Suddenly he noticed a figure in front of him, a white figure and it looked like a wolf. Arbiter was too late to stop himself, he ran into her and knocked himself back. He landed on the ground with a thump, still giggling all the while. Then he realised he’d just ran into another wolf and jumped straight up, a more serious look on his face and he was no longer giggling.
‘’I am so sorry miss, I didn’t mean to run into you… I should have watched where I was going. Are you okay? Do I need to go and get help?’’ He asked her frantically, she didn’t want her to be hurt. If she was hurt he didn’t think he’d be able to forgive himself, it was rude enough just running into her.
‘’I’m Arbiter by the way~’’ He then said, smiling at her with a sweet look in his eye. He really didn’t mean to do it and he was truly sorry, he just couldn’t help being childish sometimes.

The lost one [O] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The lost one [O]   The lost one [O] EmptySat Feb 20, 2016 9:26 am

Aarthfael awoke to a snake just a few metres away but it wasn’t interested in him. Why the wolf had fallen asleep in these lands he did not know, it was a desert full of danger and sleeping there was asking for trouble but he did anyway. He stood up and walked his slim bodice through the hot desert, ignoring everything around him. He didn’t know whether there were any wolves here and frankly he hoped there wasn’t, he didn’t want to have to deal with that right now.

Unfortunately for him there were two wolves ahead of him. Aarthfael rolled his eyes and sighed, he didn’t want to deal with this right now. So instead he found a rock that was nearby and sat on it, just watching the two. There seemed to be a male that was on the floor but soon he jumped up and started rushing around the female, apologising or something. He couldn’t really hear and didn’t really want to, he just wanted to observe what was going on.

As much as Aarthfael wanted to join a pack he didn’t feel like it right now. Especially if the members were all as sloppy and pathetic as this. He shouldn’t have been judging them, though, especially since he didn’t know what had happened. He was just being his normal rude self, the front he put up all the time, he did it without noticing now. Even his thought processes agreed with the front he was doing, he never second guessed what he was doing; until he starts to trust someone, that is.

The lost one [O] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The lost one [O]   The lost one [O] EmptySat Feb 20, 2016 2:24 pm

Anwyn sat there very quietly and calmly, staring out over the dry sand in front of her. She was so confused and had lost it a long while ago, that she not didn't seem to care anymore at this point. She was like an empty shell, broken, lost, confused, no emotions inside. Anwyn moved her ears around slightly, but she was so lost in her staring that she did not hear anything around her. She blocked out all the sounds, and all the sights, as well. She did see things, but it was like a blur to her grey eyes.
And then suddenly she was returned to this world by brute force. Something bumped into her, and she yelped in shock. Flashbacks of splashing water and a big rock dooming up in the distance danced around in her head. And the rock came closer, and then... darkness. Was that one of her memories? Anwyn wasn't sure, she had no idea what had happened to her. But what she dd know was that that thought scared her, and made her feel very uneasy.

She heard a lot of apologies behind her and she turned around, getting to her paws, to see who it was. It was a wolf, a male, and he was talking to her. She knew he was apologizing, but it didn't really catch her attention. Because as soon as she saw it was another wolf she relaxed even though she should have been aware, and she fell back onto her butt, staring at him and half listening to him.
''I'm... fine.'' she said in response, though she knew she was not fine at all. She was nothing like it. She felt terrible and she just felt the need to die out here all of a sudden. Why would she get up and keep on moving if there was nothing for her out here?
Arbiter. Anwyn did her best to remember that name, for she was afraid to forget it just like she had forgotten her own memories.
''Hey. I'm...'' she said, but she stopped at that point. What was her name? How did others call her? She had no name... at least none she should remember. She needed a new name, but what name would she like? This one word popped up in her head, the first words she thought of, and she decided to go for it. It sounded nice enough. ''Call me... Ceri.''
She had not yet noticed the wolf that was spying on them, for she barely paid attention to her surroundings right now.

‘’I'm... fine.’’ The female said after sitting down, she didn’t look so sure, though. Arbiter sat down and looked at her with a tilted head and wide eyes.
‘’You sure?’’ He asked with an excited tone in his voice, he didn’t want to offend her by it, though.
‘’Hey. I'm... Call me… Ceri.’’ The female then said to him, a short pause between them. It was as if she was unsure on her name. Was she? Was that possible? Yes, it was, he knew wolves that had forgotten their name before. He just never really got to know them because they all hated him for his clumsiness. Actually most wolves hated him, why didn’t Ceri? Why didn’t she look at him like he was an idiot, like she despised him? It was new and strange to him.
‘’You-you’re not angry at me?’’ Arbiter asked her with wide eyes. He was so confused, he even sounded so confused and surprised. Everything was so confusing right now, so confusing he didn’t notice the dark, mysterious figure that was watching them at all. He was completely oblivious to the figure! It had never really crossed his mind that a wolf could spy on him out here, actually.

Arbiter asked if she was sure and Anwyn nodded her head. ''Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry.'' she said in rather short sentences, giving the male a weak smile, but it wasn't really a real one. Then he asked her if he had not hurt her and she sighed; he had not, so why should he worry so much. He gave her a headache, but Anwyn didn't want to upset him or chase him off. But she guessed he needed to know.
''I'm not hurt, please be calm... You kind of give me a headache... I'm not angry, but...'' Anwyn said to the male and she gave him a sad look to show she was in pain. ''Not to be rude or anything, but your chaotic behavior kind of hurts my head... I'm sorry...''
She was really sorry for saying that, she didn't want to upset Arbiter.

''But you're kind, thank you for your concern.'' she then said, giving him a weak but warm smile, and a short wag of her tail. And then suddenly she had the feeling someone was out there. She looked up and some wind blew their way, and she smelled the faint scent of another wolf nearby. And she was sure this wasn't Arbiter's scent, but a whole new stranger.
''Someone is out there...'' she said, rather calmly while she should feel uncertain, and she looked at some rocks in the distance, not too far away from them. ''Hello?'' she asked, waiting for a response from whoever.

Annwyl had wandered into a strange valley, she had never been here before as far as she could recall, she didn’t recognise anybody’s scents either. Not that she knew many wolves’ scents, she made it a habit to not get too close with other wolves. She only really socialised with a couple of wolves, well, tried to. She was never successful, her attempts at socialising usually ended with her saying something rude and ruining everything, but she never meant to and she never knew she was doing it, either.

She kept walking forward and eventually caught the sense of some wolves that were very close. She just kept walking until they finally came into view. There were two together, probably talking and another black wolf just observing. She looked at them with a bit of curiosity on her face as she watched to see what they were doing. It was probably best that she didn’t try and talk to them, she would only wait until she was addressed and then just respond. That’s what she usually did. Her face looked blank again as she sat there, just watching the group of wolves socialise; something she couldn’t understand.

Arbiter looked at Ceri with his head tipped to the side, she kept saying it was okay and that he hadn't hurt her, but then she did say that she did kind of have a headache. She also said his chaotic behaviour gave her a headache, which wasn't a good thing. She wasn't being rude, he deserved to be told that actually; he had just run into her at full speed.
''No, it's not rude, I did just slam into you at full pace...'' Arbiter said with another sorry look. He was always so apologetic but that didn't stop him doing it over and over again, he just never really learnt from his mistakes. That was a weakness with him, never learning from his mistakes and being so clumsy; that's probably why no pack would accept him.

Ceri started talking to someone else, someone that wasn't him. That was right after she'd said someone was out there, but who? Arbiter turned around to look, noticing a black figure sitting on the rocks behind him. Was he spying on them?
''Excuse me, sir, are you spying on us?'' Arbiter asked him with a curious look. It was rude to spy on others, right? He shouldn't have been doing that, right? He looked over to his right and noticed another figure, this time, it was a white one. They seemed to have just arrived and the wolves did not look like they were travelling together or anything like that, but he could be wrong. In fact, he was wrong quite often. He looked over to the white figure, tilting his head as he watched it.
''Excuse me,'' he said to them. ''Are you with this black wolf?''

Aarthfael watched for a bit as the two wolves continued their conversation, the brown one was still being incredibly apologetic, but he soon stopped. The bulkier one finally noticed the slim, black figure that was watching them like a hawk. The other one turned around and they both addressed him, the female with a simple hello but the other one questioned him like a little puppy. That didn't last long, though. Soon the male was off questioning another wolf that had arrived, a white female, quite fluffy and bulky, possibly an arctic. Aarthfael stood up and started walking down from his rock towards the two with an emotionless face.
''Yes, I was spying on you. Do you have a problem with that?'' He replied with a slight growl and a glare towards the male that was in front of him. He didn't change his emotionless face, though. No, he was going to stay like that, he didn't trust these wolves and he expected them to, like most others, just think he was weak. That would be a mistake. Aarthfael was not weak at all, he was strong, not physically but mentally. He ignored the white female that was over to his left, he didn't care about her right now, she could do whatever she wanted, in fact, he didn't even mention her or look at her. Aarthfael just completely blanked her out, forgetting about her existence in a sense. Instead, he just stood in front of the other two, staring at them with cold, expressionless eyes.

PostSubject: Re: The lost one [O]   The lost one [O] EmptySun Feb 28, 2016 12:47 pm

The black wolf sat there on some rocks watching them, and Anwyn stared right back at him, not scared nor angry nor showing any other emotion. She should have been scared, but right now she felt out of place, she felt like she had left her body, and like she wasn't even alive at all. Who was she? Why was she here? Why had she come here? Where was her family? All these questions she couldn't answer. Was there someone out here who could?
Arbiter asked the black wolf if he was spying on them, and the black wolf simply answered with a yes. He sounded like he was kind of full of himself, it seemed. And not long after this other wolf appeared from the same direction as the black wolf was, a female with three legs. Arbiter asked her if she belonged with the black wolf.

Anwyn looked at the both of them as the female did not yet give an answer, and she got to her paws. Her muscles ached and she did it with effort. She had no idea why it hurt. Maybe because her head was in pain, it was carried over to the rest of her body? Had she had some sort of head trauma? After she had waken up beside a river with a painful head, she guessed that had been the case.
''Hello, are you two hostile?'' she simply asked them. If these two wolves had any bad intentions, they would let them know sooner or later. ''We mean no harm,'' she said after that, seeming to think for a moment before adding, ''call me Ceri.''
And then she finally gave a weak but honest smile.

The slim male addressed Annwyl and asked whether she was with the black wolf. A little stupid really, if she was with him then why would she have arrived just now and why would she be avoiding him? She just shook her head and watched as the other wolves spoke to one another. The black one seemed rude whilst the female seemed quite kind, she spoke to Annwyl and asked whether she was hostile before introducing herself as Ceri.

Annwyl began to walk over to them with an expressionless face, she didn't make eye contact but she watched them as she moved. The brown one certainly didn't seem hostile and, as the female had said, neither of them were; it was this black wolf she should be slightly wary of, or scared, but she didn't feel emotions, she didn't get scared. She just kept walking until she was close enough, which meant there were a few metres between them and looked at the group with dead eyes.
''Annwyl,'' she simply said to the female and then she turned her head towards the brown male and asked him some questions. ''If I was hostile wouldn't I have done something already? And if I was with this wolf wouldn't I have arrived with him and considering I steered clear of him I don't think I would be travelling with him. So, what do you think?''

The black wolf admitted to spying on them, although he did it in a far ruder way as he approached Arbiter and Ceri. The three-legged female still hadn't spoken yet, so Ceri did instead, questioning their hostility and introducing herself. Finally, the white wolf answered him as she approached the group. Both this black wolf and this white wolf had cold, emotionless eyes. The male looked less intimidating due to his slim build, whereas the female was very muscular. Arbiter actually didn't care, though. He started wagging his tail at the two strangers that could possibly be hostile. ''I'm Arbiter, nice to meet you two!''

Aarthfael listened to everyone's words. All of them introduced themselves to him Ceri, Annwyl and Arbiter. All quite nice names, but all unusual. He too had an unusual name, it seemed that throwing it out there would no cause much havoc since everyone else already had strange names like his.

''Aarthfael and I am only a threat if you are.'' He said to the group of wolves, growling at them slightly. He approached this arctic female and began to circle her, she was remarkably similar, she showed no emotion right now, just like him. However, there was one difference. This wolf seemed to be both fearless and emotionless, she had a lot of cheek. Eventually, he stopped circling her and returned to where he already was, staring her down, but not saying anything.

The strange female with only three legs introduced herself as Annwyl, and while Arbiter was being nice, the other male introduced himself as Aarthfael. And he said that he was only a threat to them if they were one to him. That was fine enough. Anwyn just shrugged at his words. Annwyl said that they had not arrived together, that she and Aarthfael didn't know each other.
''I'm... Ceri. Nice to meet you, too.'' she said on response to the two new comers and she looked at Arbiter for a moment. Why could she not remember her own name? What had happened to her?

''I guess we're all looking for a way out of here, aren't we?'' she asked the group, before turning her head to look out over the path she had wanted to take. Was it the right path to follow if she wanted to leave this place? ''Were you headed that way, as well? Maybe we can go together.''
She wasn't really excited or happy for this, if they accepted her offer to travel together. Odd enough Anwyn was pretty much indifferent. She should have been excited, but right now she could not get that emotion to work.
